Trencadis is a type of mosaic made with irregular fragments of tile and whose origin is attributed to the modernist architect Antoni Gaudí.

It consists of using small pieces of ceramic or tesserae glued on a mesh, to obtain a mosaic of very different shapes after joining them.

With numerous possibilities of placement of mosaic trencadis on any surface, the limit will be marked by the material used. It is an ideal mosaic for covering curved surfaces thanks to its meshing, as it allows us to make a perfect installation with its adaptation to the shape of each space.

This type of ceramic mosaic has been used, for example, in the Palacio de la Música in Valencia.

With its versatility to decorate sinuous and complicated shapes and walls, which are not possible for a normal tile, this metallic trencadís in silver finish has allowed a perfect adaptation in this special project.
